Science Assembly

Solids Liquids and Gases Assembly presented by Lawrence Hall of Science at University of California, Berkeley. During the 50 minute assembly, students will watch and assist with the following activities: experimenting mixing a solid and a liquid to create a gas, comparing and contrasting the three principal states of matter, experimenting with dry ice and liquid nitrogen to observe how common objects behave strangely, even if they are only fruits and vegetables! Teachers are provided with supplemental educational materials and activity guide.
Science Night

Lawrence Hall of Science Engineer and Invent Festival from the Lawrence Hall of Science. This program gives students and adults a free-flowing, hands-on experience at being engineers and inventors, with activity stations/tables guided by volunteers. Expect an evening filled with enthusiastic students designing, constructing, predicting, discussing, learning and having a whole lot of fun!
